Colorado Home Energy Rebate Program

As a registered Colorado Home Energy Rebate Program contractor serving Denver and the Front Range, we help eligible homeowners take advantage of state rebates for high-efficiency electric appliances and whole-home energy upgrades. These rebates significantly reduce upfront installation costs while improving energy efficiency, indoor comfort, and overall home health.

The Colorado Energy Office (CEO) issues rebates exclusively through approved contractors like us. That means we handle the paperwork and apply the rebate directly as an instant discount on your project—no complicated forms or waiting for reimbursement.

Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR)

The HEAR program supports upgrades such as high-efficiency electric appliances and electrification improvements. HEAR rebates are currently available for single-family homes in Denver and throughout Colorado when installed by a registered contractor. Rebates for small multifamily buildings are expected in early 2026.

If you’re considering upgrading your HVAC system, appliances, or overall home energy efficiency, we can help you maximize available Colorado and Denver energy rebates while ensuring your project meets all program requirements.

How it works.

Please carefully review the program steps and requirements below.

Eligibility

Rebate eligibility and savings amounts vary based on your home type and household income. For renters or tenants applying directly for rebates (rather than through a property owner or manager), written approval from the property owner is required before participating in the program.

Registered Contractor

As a registered contractor, we help confirm your eligibility, recommend the right energy-efficient upgrades for your home, and handle the rebate process from start to finish.

Apply

Once you’re working with us as your registered program contractor, we’ll help you verify income eligibility by guiding you through the online application. You can begin the application at any time, but a confirmed home upgrade plan is required to complete enrollment. Applications that aren’t completed within 90 days—including those without an approved plan—will expire.

Home Assessment

During the assessment, we evaluate your home and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency. We’ll work with you to choose the upgrades that best fit your home, comfort goals, and budget.

Install

We submit your proposed upgrades for approval through the program’s online portal. Once approved, we complete the installation and apply the rebate directly as a discount to your qualified project cost.

Benefits

Enjoy your new home improvements and feel good that you saved money and improved the comfort and health of your home.

Opportunities for low- and moderate-income households

As a registered contractor, we help low- and moderate-income households access the HEAR Program for high-efficiency electric appliances and other energy upgrades in single-family homes, apartments, condos, or manufactured/mobile homes. Owners and operators of multifamily buildings under 50,000 square feet may also qualify for per-unit rebates. Your rebate amount is determined by your household income compared to your county’s Area Median Income (AMI), and we guide you through the process from start to finish.

Verifying Program Eligibility

To qualify for the rebate program, you must reside in an existing home (new construction is ineligible) in Colorado for at least half of the year. Secondary homes and vacation homes are not eligible. Rental homes and units occupied by income-qualified tenants can participate.

If you think you or your building may qualify for HEAR and/or HER, your next step is to reach out to a registered program contractor and schedule a home assessment. CEO will update this list regularly as new contractors join the program.

Once you’re connected with a registered program contractor, you can verify your income by filling out an online application.
